Matching notes

Read this before you request a slot

Four things decide whether an artist is the right match for your piece: healed results, the caption behind each image, how the original design is developed, and what a revision actually costs. Compare artists on those points, not on follower counts.

  1. 01

Judge healed work, not fresh work

Ask for images taken at three, six and twelve months, in flat daylight and without filters. Fresh photographs show how crisp a line was on the day; healed photographs show how that line settles and how saturation holds on a given skin tone and placement.

  2. 02

Read the caption under each piece

Every healed piece on this page is captioned with artist, placement, size in centimetres, number of sessions and healed months. Compare like with like: same placement, similar size band. A forearm piece at 8 cm tells you more than a back piece at 30 cm. The full strip sits in the healed work gallery.

  3. 03

    Original design development

Templates are not reused. Each sketch is drawn for your placement and body flow, then sent for review before a stencil is cut. Two revision rounds are included in the quoted price; a third round is billed at the studio hourly rate and agreed in writing first.

  4. 04

    Session planning and revision terms

Sessions are quoted per piece, not per hour, so the price band holds unless the size or placement changes. Touch-ups inside the stated healing window are included; later revision work is charged separately. Needle and gauge specs, durations and price bands are listed row by row in the procedure table.

Permanent makeup follows the same rules, with long-lasting results that fade over 12 to 24 months and a scheduled touch-up noted up front. Shortlist two artists in the artist index, then book a consultation through the studio.

Consultation

Bring the brief to a consultation before any deposit is taken.

The artist reviews placement, size in cm and the number of sessions, then confirms a price band in writing. For permanent makeup a patch test is recommended at least 48 hours before the first session.
